MOT View: Leeds can make promotion-defining loan signing with ace Corberan once called ‘Special’

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O’Brien, currently on loan with LAFC in MLS.

O’Brien, praised as “special” by ex-coach Carlos Corberan, could give Leeds the boost they need in their promotion push.

With over 140 Championship appearances, O’Brien’s experience in English football is unmatched, and Leeds believe his midfield strength could be a game-changer.

Why Leeds Need O’Brien

Leeds United are currently five points off the top of the Championship table, and adding Lewis O’Brien’s talent could give the team the strength they need to bridge this gap.

O’Brien brings vital experience with his ability to control the midfield and dictate play, which Leeds have sometimes missed.

His past record in the Championship, with over 140 appearances, shows he’s ready to perform under pressure.

Known for his work rate and skill, he could help Leeds secure more wins and stay in the fight for promotion.

A Season-Defining Move

Securing O’Brien isn’t just a transfer, it’s a potential game-changer for Leeds’ season.

While other clubs, including West Brom, are reportedly interested, Leeds can leverage their ambition to return to the Premier League and attract O’Brien to Elland Road.

Adding him to the midfield would mean fewer goals conceded, stronger attacks, and a greater balance overall.

With O’Brien’s addition, Leeds would gain a dependable player to push for promotion and potentially outlast their competition in this vital season.
