Tarik Muharemovic: reported Bayern interest

by Alex Matthews

Tarik Muharemovic is reportedly on Bayern Munich’s transfer radar, according to TEAMtalk reporter Fraser Fletcher. The outlet says Bayern view the Leeds defender as a leading target for 2027, with next summer considered a more realistic window than January. That report establishes no bid or agreement.

Reported Bayern interest in Tarik Muharemovic

TEAMtalk reports that Bayern could consider testing Leeds’ position in January but says a mid-season transfer is off the table at Elland Road. It describes summer 2027 as the more realistic point for a move. Those are the outlet’s claims about interest and timing, not an announced Bayern approach or a Leeds transfer decision.

Leeds Live also covered the story on 7 October, explicitly attributing the Bayern link to TEAMtalk. That second report is not independent club confirmation.

What is confirmed about Tarik Muharemovic’s contract?

Leeds’ official signing announcement dated 17 July confirms that the centre-back joined from Sassuolo on a five-year deal. The club described the transfer fee as undisclosed.

Readers should not confuse TEAMtalk’s reported £60m-plus valuation with an official asking price, however. Nor does the reported original transfer package equal the club’s disclosed fee. A valuation in a transfer report is not evidence of an offer, an accepted price or a completed negotiation.

Separate transfer reporting from the football update

TEAMtalk also reports continuing Inter Milan interest. The same report says being on a target list does not amount to a formal offer. Neither club’s interest amounts to a confirmed bid on this reporting.

Meanwhile, on the pitch, Leeds’ own reporting supplies a firmer update: Tarik Muharemovic completed Bosnia and Herzegovina’s win over Poland, covered in our international clean-sheet report. That match account and the transfer rumour are separate stories. The club’s signing announcement confirms his contract background; it does not confirm the reported interest from other clubs.
