The latest Leeds team news brings a boost over Joe Rodon, who has returned to full training. Noah Okafor and Anton Stach remain major doubts for Saturday’s visit of Tottenham Hotspur.

Daniel Farke also revealed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed Thursday’s session after a foot setback. The Leeds manager remained cautiously optimistic that the striker could train on Friday and be available for the match.
Farke gave the update at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, with Rodon’s progress providing encouragement amid continuing concerns elsewhere in the squad.
Leeds team news: Rodon back in full training
In an update published by Leeds United, Farke said: “Good news with Joe Rodon, he is back in full team training during this week.”
The defender has been out for an extended period. His return to the full group puts him in contention for the matchday squad, but Farke did not confirm a place in the starting line-up.
Rodon’s inclusion in Wales’ November squad had already provided encouragement. Thursday’s update is a further step, confirming his return to full club training rather than relying on the international call-up as evidence of his fitness.
Okafor and Stach remain major doubts
Okafor has not taken part in team training this week after the adductor problem that kept him out against Bournemouth. Stach has also been limited to individual rehabilitation work because of his foot problem.
“Just individual rehab work was possible, so major doubts then both if they are available,” Farke said of the pair. “With Anton and Noah we have to see.”
Neither player was definitively ruled out. Farke said there were still two days before the match, leaving time for further assessment.
Calvert-Lewin assessment continues
Calvert-Lewin’s situation is separate from those of Okafor and Stach. Farke said the forward had suffered “a little setback with his foot” and was unable to train with the group on Thursday.
The manager added that he was “carefully optimistic” about a return to training on Friday. Availability against Spurs therefore remained conditional on his progress, rather than confirmed.
Leeds Live’s press-conference coverage also reported Farke saying Gabriel Gudmundsson and James Justin were OK.
