Leeds United are stepping up their summer transfer plans and now want to sign a former Premier League star to help build a strong midfield for the new season.

After bringing in Lucas Nmecha from Wolfsburg and closing in on Jaka Bijol, Leeds are now looking at Douglas Luiz, a player who used to play for Aston Villa.

Douglas Luiz Could Be a Big Signing

What He Brings to Leeds

Douglas Luiz could give manager Daniel Farke more options in the middle of the pitch. He’s strong in defence, good at passing, and can score goals from midfield.

Stats show he got better every season at Villa, and he’s still in his prime.

His experience in the Premier League is a big bonus. He already knows the pace and style of English football. And being called “world-class” by his former teammates shows just how good he can be.

Leeds United might have a gem on their hands if they can land Douglas Luiz. Just like Raphinha before him, he could become a key player at Elland Road and help the
