Noah Okafor came off the bench to score the winner as Leeds United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Elland Road.
The forward struck in the 79th minute, two minutes after replacing Lukas Nmecha, to turn a strong second-half performance into three points. Harry Wilson, introduced alongside him, supplied the flick that sent Okafor through to finish past Antonín Kinský.
James Trafford then protected the lead with a late save from Jan Paul van Hecke. Leeds head into the international break with their first league win since 14 September.

Leeds 1-0 Tottenham: pressure pays off
Neither side found a breakthrough in a scrappy first half. Trafford dealt with efforts from Omar Marmoush and Mohammed Kudus, while Nmecha headed a Jayden Bogle cross straight at Kinský.
The opening period also included a lengthy VAR review after Bogle’s challenge on Mathys Tel. The Tottenham forward tried to continue but was replaced by Dominic Solanke before half-time.
The confirmed Leeds team news had placed Okafor among the substitutes after doubts over his availability.
Daniel Farke brought Melvin Bard on for Gabriel Gudmundsson at the interval, and Leeds became the more threatening side. Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a header cleared off the line, Ao Tanaka fired over and Nmecha was denied by a block.
Sean Longstaff, making his 200th Premier League appearance, forced a fine save from Kinský after bringing down a cross. The goal eventually arrived when Farke turned to his bench again.
Okafor and Wilson make the difference
Okafor and Wilson replaced Nmecha and Tanaka in the 77th minute. Wilson’s flick found his fellow substitute inside the area, and Okafor took a touch before driving the ball into the corner.

Farke later explained that Okafor’s involvement had been carefully limited following an adductor problem. According to the manager, the medical department had advised that the forward could play no more than 15 or 20 minutes.
“We decided to take Noah with us because he can always produce a moment of magic,” Farke told the club. “I’m pleased for him with the finish and Harry his first assist on Premier League level.”
Okafor described the result as an important lift after Leeds had struggled to turn chances into goals.
“It is amazing to come in, to score and to get the three points,” he told Leeds United. “Really important for us. But, yeah, a good team performance. We just have to keep going like this.”
Trafford keeps Leeds ahead
Leeds had an opportunity to extend their lead on the counter when Calvert-Lewin found Wilson, whose cross was just too high for Okafor.
At the other end, Trafford had one more important intervention to make. As the match entered added time, he dived to his left to turn Van Hecke’s header around the post and keep the clean sheet intact.
The result rewarded Leeds’ second-half pressure and ended Tottenham’s three-match Premier League winning run.
