Leeds United ‘identify’ QPR man as transfer target as Millwall ‘agree’ deal

by Alex Matthews

The Championship put on plenty of drama this weekend. The South Wales derby will take place between Cardiff City and Swansea City.

Millwall and QPR both came away with a share of the spoils this weekend, but neither could notch their first win of the season.

Millwall ground out a precious away point at Hull City, but QPR continued their poor home form, only managing a point against Plymouth Argyle, who ended the match with nine players.

Kevin Nisbet Moves to Aberdeen on Loan

Millwall’s forward Kevin Nisbet is off to Aberdeen with also a loan for the season.

The Scottish international who netted 5 goals in 27 appearances last season while playing for Millwall has not been included in the plans of Neil Harris.

By going home he now has a chance to turn things around and revive his form.

Leeds United Secure Manor Solomon from Spurs

According to reports, Leeds United have agreed with Tottenham Hotspurs over a deal for Manor Solomon.

He is eager to leave North London and his offer was turned down by Getafe and other clubs in Britain.

With the departure of Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville, Leeds needs someone to help them bolster their attack.

Leeds Target QPR’s Ilias Chair

Leeds United are said to have expressed an interest in buying QPR’s playmaker Ilias Chair.

However often in question Chair’s future possesses little endurance, for the QPR player is in the final year of his contract.

Leeds are keen to bring him in as a replacement for Rutter. QPR, though, will hold on to their star man if they can, so this is potentially a difficult negotiation.

This weekend’s Championship action and transfer news have kept fans on their toes as clubs look to strengthen their squads before the transfer window closes.
