Leeds United are making a late push to sign West Ham striker Danny Ings before the transfer window closes.
According to transfer journalist Darren Witcoop, Ings is not part of the plans for West Ham but some other clubs might want to take him on.
Leeds and Burnley are interested in him. The final judge has yet to be decided, so much will depend on financial terms.
Ings’ Experience Could Benefit Leeds
With 71 Premier League goals, Ings brings experience that could be valuable.
Leeds lost key attackers such as Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter, adding Ings would be the squad depth necessary for Championship survival.
Some fans, however, think the club can hardly even think about transfer deadline business on 30 August until it has done something about its defense.
What Leeds Fans Should Expect
Ings might not go straight into the starting lineup, but his presence could be crucial for the squad.
Leeds United’s manager, Daniel Farke, uses Ings’ experience for another outlet in the team’s attacks, it will keep them competitive as they aim at promotion.
This is a crucial few days for Leeds United as they aim to complete their transfer business.
Whether Ings will be part of the squad or not is still not certain, but it could turn out to be a good move for the club.
Stay tuned for more updates as the transfer window comes to a close.
