Crysencio Summerville’s Premier League dreams haven’t taken off as expected after his £25 million move to West Ham United.
Following an impressive season at Leeds, where he scored 21 goals and assisted 10, the Dutch winger finds himself limited to only 334 minutes across 9 appearances under West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui.
Limited Playing Time
West Ham’s promise of regular minutes attracted Summerville, but the reality has been three starts, with substitutions in challenging match situations.
Despite flashes of talent, the winger hasn’t yet had the platform he hoped for to show his skill at the top level.
Possible Window to Shine
With teammate Mohammed Kudus suspended, Summerville may have a shot at more minutes in the upcoming matches.
Leeds fans, who cheered his performances last season, are eager to see if he can make an impact in the Premier League.
Summerville’s journey at West Ham is still in its early days, but he’ll hope for more opportunities to prove himself soon.
