Manor Solomon has just tied the knot but it’s his next move in football that has everyone talking.
The winger got married on 12 June to his long-time partner Dana Voshina, but Leeds United fans were more excited by what was seen at the wedding than the cake!
Leeds shirt at the wedding? Fans get hopeful
The wedding was a private and happy event for Solomon and his bride. But one thing stood out, a guest was seen wearing a Leeds United shirt with Solomon’s name on it!
That wasn’t all. Flags at the wedding showed Solomon playing in the famous white kit for Leeds.
Even though there were also flags for Tottenham and Fulham, his old clubs, Leeds had the biggest presence.
This has now made fans believe that Solomon could return to Elland Road very soon.
What’s next for Solomon?
Solomon had a great loan spell at Leeds last season. He scored 10 goals and gave 13 assists in 41 games, helping the team win promotion.
Now, he’s back at Tottenham, but things there are not clear.
Spurs have hired a new manager, Thomas Frank, and he may want new players like Bryan Mbeumo.
If that happens, Solomon might not get game time at all. That’s where Leeds United come in.
Reports say Leeds are very keen to sign Solomon permanently, and fans would love to see that happen.
But Tottenham may want to keep him or sell him to a different team.
Wife played a big role in Leeds move
Solomon has already said that it was his wife, Dana, who convinced him to join Leeds last summer.
In an interview, he said: “She pushed me because our goal is to stay in England, She said, ‘OK, it’s not London. We won’t be with our friends, but I’m sure Leeds is a good place.’ After I signed, I told her, ‘Thank you.’”
That shows how much his family supports Leeds and maybe that love could help bring him back.
Solomon deal not over yet
With the transfer window opening on 16 June, things could move fast. Solomon has shown he loves Leeds.
The club loves him back. Now it’s just a matter of time.
If Leeds want to stay strong in the Premier League, bringing Solomon back could be a big win.
