Leeds United defender Max Wöber is making strides to win over Elland Road fans after his return from a loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite early criticism and boos in pre-season, Wöber is showing dedication, with his recent performances in Leeds’ strong Championship run highlighting his potential value.
Wöber’s Return to Form
After recovering from a meniscus injury, Wöber has delivered solid displays, particularly as a left-back against Swansea and Luton Town.
He played a key role in possession recovery during a late winner against Swansea and added energy down the left flank versus Luton.
Singing the Club Anthem
In a heartwarming moment, Wöber was spotted singing “Marching On Together” in the tunnel after the 3-0 win over Luton.
Fans interpreted this gesture as a sign of his renewed commitment to Leeds’ long-term goals.
While it may take time to rebuild his relationship with supporters, his versatility at left-back and centre-back makes him a crucial asset for Leeds’ promotion push.
