Nico Elvedi has been named in the latest FC27 Team of the Week after helping Switzerland win all four matches across their September and October international window, Leeds United have confirmed.
The defender played every minute of those wins. Leeds say he is their first player to receive the game’s Team of the Week recognition in the 2026/27 campaign.
Nico Elvedi helps Switzerland finish with another win
Elvedi played at centre-back in Tuesday’s 3-0 victory over North Macedonia. The club’s report records 63 touches and 47 completed passes, alongside six duels won and three tackles.
He also made two clearances, two interceptions and four recoveries, with one attempt on goal. Those figures describe his contribution in that match, rather than a forecast of how Leeds will perform after the break.

What Nico Elvedi’s recognition means
The award is recognition within FC27, not a separate football competition or an official league honour. However, the football story is his run of full appearances and Switzerland’s winning results.
It gives Leeds another positive international update as attention turns back to club football. The announcement does not provide a new Leeds team selection or injury update, so Nico Elvedi’s availability for the next match is a separate matter.
