Leeds Could Reunite with Fan Favourite as £20M Transfer Move Gathers Serious Pace

by Alex Matthews

Leeds United are showing no signs of slowing down in the summer transfer window. After securing a deal to bring Harry Wilson to Elland Road on a free transfer, the Whites are now being linked with another player who already knows the club well.

Daniel Farke wants to build a squad that can compete in the Premier League, and Leeds are expected to add more quality before the transfer window closes. One name that has appeared once again is Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon.

The Israeli international enjoyed an excellent spell at Leeds during his loan move and quickly became one of the fans’ favourite players. Now, reports suggest a permanent return could be possible if Leeds decide to make their move.

Leeds handed fresh hope in Manor Solomon chase

Manor Solomon struggled to establish himself at Tottenham after arriving in north London. Injuries and strong competition limited his chances, and he has found it difficult to become a regular starter.

That situation could now work in Leeds’ favour.

Reports claim Tottenham would be willing to listen to offers in the region of £20 million for the winger. While that is still a sizeable fee, it is one Leeds could consider following their return to the Premier League.

The Whites already know exactly what Solomon can offer. He spent last season impressing supporters with his pace, quick feet and ability to create chances in the final third.

Rather than gambling on an unknown player, Leeds would be signing someone who already understands Daniel Farke’s style and knows what it means to play at Elland Road.

Harry Wilson’s signing could make Leeds attack even stronger

Harry Wilson’s expected arrival is already seen as a major boost for Leeds.

The Wales international enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career with Fulham, producing goals and assists regularly. His creativity and eye for goal could give Leeds another dangerous option in attack.

However, signing Wilson does not appear to have ended the club’s search for attacking players.

Leeds know they need strength in depth if they want to stay in the Premier League. Injuries, suspensions and a long season mean Farke cannot rely on only one or two creative players.

Adding Solomon alongside Wilson would give Leeds two proven attacking options who can change games with moments of quality.

Solomon already proved himself at Elland Road

Leeds supporters do not need convincing about Solomon’s quality.

During his loan spell, the winger played a huge part in the club’s successful campaign. His speed caused problems for defenders every week, while his goals and assists helped Leeds win important matches.

His confidence on the ball made him one of the most exciting players in the Championship. Whether cutting inside from the wing or creating chances for teammates, Solomon often looked like the player who could unlock a stubborn defence.

Although his recent loan spells away from Tottenham have not produced the same numbers, Leeds believe the club could once again bring out the best in him.

Sometimes a player simply performs better in the right environment, and Elland Road may be exactly where Solomon feels most comfortable.

Busy summer continues for Daniel Farke

Leeds are also being linked with several other players as they prepare for another season in the Premier League.

The club continue to search for improvements in midfield and defence, while strengthening the attack remains one of the biggest priorities.

Bringing Harry Wilson through the door would already be an important piece of business. If Leeds can also complete a move for Manor Solomon, supporters will feel the club are making a real statement ahead of the new campaign.

Farke wants players who fit his system and can make an immediate impact. Solomon has already shown he can do exactly that in a Leeds shirt.

Whether Tottenham accept an offer remains to be seen, but the possibility of seeing Solomon back at Elland Road is sure to excite supporters. If the deal happens, Leeds could head into the new season with one of their strongest attacking units in recent years.
