Elland Road parking sold out for Leeds v Manchester United

by Alex Matthews

Elland Road parking in the council car parks has sold out for Sunday’s Leeds United match against Manchester United, including accessible and motorcycle spaces.

Leeds have told supporters not to drive to the ground without a pre-booked parking ticket. Anyone arriving without a booked space will be turned away.

Elland Road parking: save your digital pass

Fans who already have a booking need to download their digital parking pass to Google Pay on Android or Apple Wallet on iPhone before arriving.

The club’s official travel update says screenshots and email confirmations will not be accepted. Supporters should save the ticket to their wallet before setting off and make sure their phone is fully charged.

The 17 accessible spaces on Lowfields Road and the motorcycle hoops have been suspended and moved to the Purple Car Park. Those relocated spaces are also sold out.

This is the update for Sunday’s United fixture. The club’s separate accessible parking priority window from November concerns later bookings, not new spaces for this match.

Pre-booked alternatives to Elland Road parking

In its notice published on Thursday, Leeds said White Rose Office Park parking and Stourton Park & Ride tickets remained available. Both options require advance booking and are subject to availability.

White Rose Office Park costs £9.50 per match, including a £1 booking fee. Access uses automatic number plate recognition. The club gives the address as White Rose Office Park, Millshaw Park, Leeds LS11 0DL.

Stourton Park & Ride costs £6.50 per person or £21 per car based on four people sharing, including a £1 booking fee. The shuttle begins two-and-a-half hours before kick-off and returns after the match.

The Stourton site is at Junction 7 of the M621, postcode LS10 1FF. A maximum vehicle height of 2.35 metres applies.

Booking deadline and Temple Green warning

The club lists midnight on Saturday 17 October as the purchase deadline for both alternatives, subject to availability. Supporters should check the club’s ticketing platform rather than assume places will remain on sale until then.

Temple Green’s service will not operate for this fixture. That leaves pre-booked arrangements especially important for fans planning their journey.

The Elland Road parking warning is clear: having a match ticket does not mean a car park space is available. Check the official travel guidance, save any booked parking pass correctly and make a plan before heading to the ground.
