Leeds United fans have been buzzing this season about young Harry Gray, who’s looked like the next big star coming through the club.

But now, club legend Eddie Gray says there might be another Gray coming through the ranks.

Leeds United have always had a strong youth system, and under manager Daniel Farke, the youngsters are really starting to shine.

Farke has already helped talents like Archie Gray and Harry Gray break into the spotlight.

Now, Eddie Gray has revealed that a young player named Jacob Gray, his grandson is currently in the Leeds academy.

“He’s a good player,” says Eddie

Speaking to the media, Eddie said Jacob, who is just 12 years old, plays as a forward and also just behind the striker.

That’s a big compliment from a man who knows a thing or two about football. Eddie says he doesn’t believe Harry will be the last Gray to make it big at Leeds.

Eddie’s son Stuart Gray, who sadly passed away, was also a footballer. Now his son, Jacob, looks set to continue the family tradition at Elland Road.

It’s still early days, of course, as Jacob is only just starting his football journey. But the fact that he’s already in the academy and getting praise from Eddie shows there’s something special there.

Can Farke help another Gray rise?

Daniel Farke has built a good bond with the young lads at Leeds. He helped Archie Gray secure a £40 million move and is now guiding Harry. Farke always tells his young players to stay grounded and keep learning.

If Farke stays with the club long-term, he could also help Jacob grow into a top player.

There’s still a long way to go, but fans will now be keeping an eye on this next Gray. Leeds has a rich history, and it would be something special to see three generations from the same family wear the famous white shirt.

What’s next?

For now, it’s about letting Jacob develop without too much pressure. But make no mistake if he keeps improving, we might just see another Gray running out at Elland Road one day. And that would make Eddie Gray, and every Leeds fan, very proud.
