Leeds United are heading into a very dangerous part of their season, and talk about a possible Daniel Farke sacking is getting louder every week.
Many fans are worried, the results are poor, and now some journalists say the club could soon have “no choice” but to act.
The Leeds United club is still saying they support Farke, but with a tough run of games coming up, things could change fast.
And now, a new report has named a big manager, a man who has won major trophies, as the top choice if the board decides to Leeds sack Farke.
Leeds Board Still Backs Farke, For Now
Leeds have lost four of their last five Premier League games and are sitting only one point above the relegation zone.
Performances away from home have been very poor, and many supporters feel things are slipping very fast.
Journalists from across Yorkshire say the board is calm and not ready to panic. They believe the team is roughly where they expected to be, and they still trust Farke to turn things around.
Leeds only aimed for 17th or higher this season, and right now they are in 16th place.
But journalist Pete O’Rourke says the story is not that simple. Speaking this week, he warned the board may “feel they have to act” if Leeds drop into the bottom three by December.
He said other clubs in trouble have already changed managers, Wolves, West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Leeds could follow that same path.
He also said the next fixtures are extremely tough: Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
These are the types of matches that can destroy a season if results don’t improve. And if Leeds falls into the danger zone, he believes the 49ers will be under huge pressure to make a change.
This is where the Leeds United Daniel Farke sack claim is starting to feel more serious.
Brendan Rodgers Emerges as the Big Name Replacement
With talk of a Daniel Farke sacking, journalists have started discussing possible replacements.
And one name stands out above everyone else: Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers has won many Premier League winners-level trophies in his career, especially at Celtic, where he won 11 major honours, including league titles and trebles.

He also lifted the FA Cup at Leicester City and is seen as a high-quality manager with strong experience.
Journalist Graeme Bailey says Rodgers is the “most likely” man to take over if Leeds acts.
He explained that Rodgers is available after leaving Celtic recently and that the Leeds board knows he is a top-level manager who could bring stability and better football.
This news has added even more pressure on Farke. When a big manager like Rodgers is free, clubs start to think faster than normal.
Leeds United Know Survival Must Come First
Leeds have not won many Leeds United trophies in modern years, and returning to the Premier League was supposed to be the start of something better.
But the first months have been difficult. The team struggles to score, and new signings like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha have not delivered enough goals.
The board accepted some of the blame, and sources say they will try to bring in another striker in January. Without goals, it is impossible to survive.
But before January comes, the pressure on the manager will be huge. If the home form becomes weak too, then Farke could be in serious trouble.
Right now, the club is supporting him. But the reality is simple: if results stay bad and Leeds fall deep into relegation trouble, the board may feel they have to make a change, and Brendan Rodgers is waiting.
The next few games could decide everything.
