Leeds United may have lost 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, but striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shared some big praise for manager Daniel Farke.
The forward says Farke’s training methods and attention to detail are something he’s never seen before and it’s giving the Leeds camp real belief.
The Whites have taken eight points from their first seven matches this season.
Even though they’ve dropped a few late points, there’s a real sense that this team is on the right track under Farke’s leadership.
Calvert-Lewin Praises Farke’s “Level Of Detail”
After the Spurs defeat, Calvert-Lewin spoke with club legend Lucas Radebe on LUTV.
When asked if the manager was feeling pressure with tough games against Burnley and West Ham coming up, the striker gave a calm but confident reply.
“We prepare for every game like normal,” said Calvert-Lewin. “He’s very consistent with how we approach games to beat the opposition. The manager has been very successful in the past. Me coming into the building, I’m really impressed with the level of detail we’re given going into the match probably more than I’ve had in the past. We all know our roles.”

That quote says a lot about how Farke runs things behind the scenes.
Players are given full clarity on what to do, and every game is approached with the same discipline. It’s not about panic or pressure, it’s about preparation.
Leeds Performance Deserved More Against Spurs
Leeds were full of energy at Elland Road and even hit the post early on.
Calvert-Lewin worked hard up front, holding the ball up and linking play, but just couldn’t find his finishing touch. He had two good chances but missed one big opportunity that could’ve changed the game.
Despite that, many fans praised his effort and movement.
He’s only got one goal so far in the win over Wolves but his overall play has impressed pundits like Jermaine Beckford, who called him “unbelievable” even without the goals.
Farke’s Consistent Approach Brings Hope
It’s clear that Farke’s approach is starting to make an impact. He’s calm, tactical, and keeps his players focused, no matter who they face.
Leeds have looked organised in every match, and even in defeat, there are signs of progress.
Now the team has a short break before they face Burnley on October 18. That gives Farke time to fine-tune tactics and gives Calvert-Lewin another chance to find the net.
Leeds fans will be hoping that all the hard work on the training pitch and Farke’s famous attention to detail starts to pay off with more wins after the break.
