Leeds United played Newcastle United at Elland Road and the game finished 0-0.
Daniel Farke’s side gave a strong fight in the first half, but both teams failed to score.
It was a hard game with not many clear chances, but Leeds can be happy with the point.
Here are the Leeds United player ratings from the match.
Lucas Perri: 6
The goalkeeper did not have much to do but stayed calm.
He made one good save from Jacob Murphy early in the second half.
His confidence helped the defence feel steady.
Jayden Bogle: 7
Bogle had a busy evening. He was strong in defence against Tino Livramento and also gave energy in attack during the first half.
His attacking influence slowed down after the break but still a good display.
Pascal Struijk: 6
Many thought Struijk would not start this season, but he showed he can play at Premier League level.
Solid in defence and stayed focused, though not tested too much.
Joe Rodon: 6
Rodon was reliable as always.
Newcastle’s attack was not very sharp, but Rodon stayed strong and made no mistakes.
Gabriel Gudmundsson: 7
Gudmundsson was excellent again.
He defended well against tricky Newcastle players like Murphy and Trippier.
His most important moment was blocking Osula’s shot which could have been a goal.
Sadly, he went off injured late on.

His energy, tackles and smart passing helped Leeds a lot.
Ilia Gruev: 7
Gruev had a slow start but improved as the match went on.
He won balls back and tried to push Leeds forward with his passing.
Anton Stach: 6
Stach worked hard in midfield but could not create much in attack.
He did his defensive job, but Leeds lacked ideas going forward when he had the ball.

James ran fast and gave effort, but he did not create real danger.
His pace worried Newcastle defenders, but nothing came from it.
Lukas Nmecha: 4
A tough night for the striker.
He fought hard but his touch was poor, and he lost the ball many times. Needs to improve.
Willy Gnonto: 6.5
Gnonto was Leeds’ most dangerous forward in the first half.
He looked like he could make something happen, but nothing came in the end.
Taking him off early felt strange.

Worked hard on the left but wasted a chance to cross late on.

Struggled again. Looked lost on the wing and gave little impact.

Final Word
It was not the most exciting game, but Leeds showed fight and discipline against a tough Newcastle side.
Sean Longstaff was the best player on the pitch, and Gabriel Gudmundsson impressed again before injury forced him off.
Leeds need more quality in attack, but this point could prove important as the season goes on.
