Leeds United lost 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road in a hard-fought Premier League match on Saturday.
It was a loud night in Leeds as Archie Gray got a big cheer on his return, and Daniel Farke’s team started strong with high energy and a few early chances.
Leeds looked fired up and even hit the post, but once again, small mistakes cost them big.
Tottenham’s Mathys Tel scored with a deflected shot, and though Noah Okafor got Leeds level, Spurs found the winner later through Mohammed Kudus.
Here’s how the Leeds players rated after a tough night under the lights.
Karl Darlow: 6
Couldn’t do much about either of the Spurs goals, both took big deflections. Other than that, he didn’t face too many shots. Looked calm when needed.
Jayden Bogle: 5
Had a mixed night. His cross helped create Okafor’s goal, but Spurs had too much space down his side. Udogie ran in behind him a few times. Worked hard but not his best game.
Joe Rodon: 8
Easily Leeds’ best defender again. Strong in tackles, won big headers, and almost scored himself when his header hit the post. Looked solid from start to finish. A real leader at the back.
Pascal Struijk: 6
Not his best night. He was unlucky with deflections but got caught out of position for the first goal. Needs to be quicker to react in those moments.
Gabriel Gudmundsson: 5
Another tough game for the Swedish full-back. His mistake led to the second Spurs goal, but he kept trying to push forward. Linked well with Okafor on the left, though sometimes left space behind.
Sean LongstafL: 6
Had good and bad moments. Lost the ball before the first goal but made some nice passes and delivered strong corners. Still needs to tighten up under pressure.
Ethan Ampadu: 5
The captain tried to set the tone with strong tackles but had a rough game. His first touches were off and he picked up a yellow card. Didn’t control midfield as he usually does.
Anton StachL: 8
Very good in midfield. Calm on the ball, strong in defence, and creative in attack. Played smart passes and kept Leeds moving forward. Strange that he was subbed off — he was one of the best.
Brenden Aaronson: 7.5
His best match in a long time. Full of energy, great touches, and created the shot that led to Okafor’s goal. Needs to help more in defence, but overall looked sharp and confident.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 5.5
Worked hard but missed big chances. His clever touch set up the goal, but he wasted three great opportunities himself. Leeds need him to start scoring soon.
Noah Okafor: 8

Leeds’ top performer on the night. Scored his first goal for the club and looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. Fast, direct, and confident. He’s quickly becoming a fan favourite.
Substitutes
Ao Tanaka: 6 (added energy)
Jack Harrison: 5 (no real impact)
Joel Piroe: 5 (denied late on)
Lukas Nmecha: 4 (quiet)
James Justin: 4 (came on late)
Leeds United gave everything but came up short again. A few unlucky deflections and missed chances proved costly.
Okafor and Rodon were standout stars, while Farke will want fewer errors and more composure in front of goal next time.
