Manchester United and Leeds United both want a new man between the sticks this summer.
It’s no surprise really, after both sides had a rough time with their goalkeepers last season.
At Man United, boss Ruben Amorim had to watch both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir struggle in big games.
Down in Leeds, Daniel Farke had enough of Illan Meslier’s mistakes and benched him for Karl Darlow.
But now, both clubs are looking at one young Belgian talent, Senne Lammens.
Leeds Want Him, But Man Utd Might Win
Lammens is just 23 and already has 44 games under his belt for Royal Antwerp. He even kept 10 clean sheets last season.
That’s why both Man Utd and Leeds are interested.
But here’s the thing, the keeper already sounds pretty excited about Man Utd.
In an interview earlier this year, Lammens said: “it was special to be linked with such a big club. He even said his style fits English football, tall, strong, and ready to handle pressure.”
He added, “If something comes along that I can hardly say no to… I’ll have to think about it.”
So it sounds like he’d leave if the offer is right and if it’s from Old Trafford, even better for him.

A Bargain Price for Premier League Clubs
Antwerp isn’t asking for a crazy price either. Reports say he could go for just £17 million.
That’s not much for a Premier League club, especially for a young keeper with loads of potential.
Leeds are still looking at other options too, like Gonzalo Garcia, but they’ll have to move fast if they want to beat United to this one.
What Happens Next?
For now, Lammens is still at Royal Antwerp. But with Premier League clubs circling, it might not be long before he’s on his way.
If Man Utd come calling, it looks like the Belgian already has his heart set there.
Leeds will need to work extra hard to convince him or turn to their next target. Either way, this goalkeeper chase is heating up fast.
