Leeds United fans are not happy at all after the Premier League delayed their festive fixture announcement once again.
With travel prices already sky-high, the late update has left thousands of LUFC fans angry, confused, and out of pocket.
The Leeds United Premier League fixtures for December were supposed to be announced weeks ago, but the league has still failed to confirm the schedule between Christmas and New Year.
For travelling Leeds fans, that’s a big problem, and many are calling the situation a total “disgrace.”
This delay has caused major frustration for United fans who had already started booking tickets for away games.
Some had even paid for hotels or train journeys, only to find out those plans might now change completely once the final dates are announced.
Festive period chaos for Leeds United supporters
The Christmas period is always the busiest and most expensive time to travel across the UK, and this year is no different.
Train fares rise fast, hotels fill up, and transport becomes a nightmare. That’s why fans usually plan their Leeds United fixtures months.
However, the Premier League fixture announcement delay has now made those plans impossible.
The league was expected to confirm the full list of Premier League festive fixtures by mid-October, however, no information has been shared about matches around Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve.
Leeds are due to play Sunderland on 27 December and Liverpool on 30 December, both tough away trips that will cost fans a lot of money.
Each passing day without an official date means higher prices for trains, buses, and hotels.

Fans call Premier League decision “unacceptable”
For Leeds United fans, this isn’t just about football, it’s about respect.
Many supporters work long hours and save money to follow their team, and this uncertainty makes everything harder.
One fan wrote online, “We always get treated like an afterthought. How are people supposed to plan when they don’t even know what day we’re playing?”
The Premier League claims the delays are due to “complexities” in scheduling, but LUFC fans are not buying that explanation.
They believe the league has shown little care for travelling supporters, especially after already raising ticket prices this season.
Leeds United supporters deserve better
This is not the first time Leeds fans have faced chaos around fixture changes.
Whether it’s early kick-offs or last-minute TV adjustments, supporters constantly feel ignored.
Leeds United have a passionate fanbase who fill Elland Road every week, home or away.
They travel hundreds of miles to back their team, no matter the conditions. All they ask for is a fair chance to plan their trips, something the Premier League fixture announcement delay has completely ruined.
Until the league gets its act together, Leeds United supporters will keep voicing their frustration.
For now, one thing’s clear, fans deserve much better than this confusion.
