Leeds United are busy this summer, trying to get the right striker before the new Premier League season kicks off.
They know they need goals if they want to stay up and not go straight back down.
While they have already signed Lukas Nmecha for free, he is only seen as a backup player, not the main man.
The Whites have already spent more than £75 million on seven new players this window.
Their most expensive deal so far is Anton Stach, who cost £17 million from Hoffenheim.
But everyone knows that good strikers usually cost even more.
Rodrigo Muniz Was the Main Target
Leeds were focused on signing Rodrigo Muniz from Fulham.
The 23-year-old Brazilian scored eight goals in the Premier League last season and showed signs that he could become a strong number 9.
Leeds had talks with his agents, and it seemed like Muniz wanted the move to Elland Road.
But there’s one big problem, Fulham want £50 million for him.
That’s a huge amount, and Leeds don’t want to spend that much on just one player.
Talks have been going on, but no deal has been agreed yet.
Fulham still haven’t signed a new striker themselves, so they don’t want to let Muniz go just yet.
Artem Dovbyk Could Be a Better Option
Now, Leeds are looking at another striker, Artem Dovbyk from Roma. He could be a smarter signing.
The Italian club are ready to sell him for around £30 million because they want to raise money to buy Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund.

Dovbyk is a strong forward who has done well in Europe and could fit in perfectly at Leeds.
Time is running out, and with the Premier League season starting in less than three weeks, Leeds might be forced to drop the Muniz chase and go for Dovbyk instead.
What’s Next for Leeds?
Leeds boss Daniel Farke still wants more wide players too, especially after missing out on Igor Paixao.
But finding the main striker is clearly the top job right now.
If Fulham don’t lower their asking price soon, Leeds are likely to walk away and push harder to get Dovbyk instead.
A £30m deal could still get them a quality striker without breaking the bank.
One thing is for sure, Leeds need a top number 9, and they need him fast.
