Leeds United had another tough afternoon on the road as they lost 3-1 to Nottingham Forest.
The Whites started strong with Lukas Nmecha’s early goal, but Forest quickly hit back and took control of the game.
Ibrahima Sangare levelled things up just minutes later, and Morgan Gibbs-White sealed the win with a fine header.
It was another day of frustration for Leeds fans as their side struggled to hold onto their lead and couldn’t find a way back once they went behind. Here’s how each player performed in the defeat.
Jayden Bogle: 7/10
Bogle had a solid outing on the right side. He stood his man up well and tried to push forward when he could, though the game’s flow didn’t always let him show his best. Still, he worked hard and kept his shape in defence, making a few good tackles and runs down the flank.
Joe Rodon: 7/10
Rodon won several important duels and looked strong for most of the match. However, he’ll be disappointed that one small lapse allowed Morgan Gibbs-White to get in behind and score. Other than that, he stayed focused and was one of the more dependable defenders on the day.

Jaka Bijol: 7/10
Bijol was strong in the air, winning plenty of headers and trying to play the ball forward whenever possible. He showed good composure on the ball and passed well from the back. Still, the defence as a unit was caught out when Forest scored their second goal, which cost Leeds dearly.
Gabriel Gudmundsson: 7/10
Gudmundsson offered a positive outlet on the left side, running hard and covering a lot of ground. One moment saw him sprint almost the full length of the pitch, beating two players along the way. He looked like one of the fittest players on the pitch and gave everything for the team.
Anton Stach: 5/10
Not the best outing for Stach. He looked off the pace at times and was a bit slow in both his tackling and passing. A few sloppy moments gave Forest easy possession. He’ll need to sharpen up if he wants to keep his place in the next Leeds football game.
Ethan Ampadu: 6/10
Ampadu played through a knock on his knee but still gave his all. He made some strong tackles in midfield and tried to keep things organised. His passing wasn’t always accurate, but his effort and bravery were clear to see.
Sean Longstaff: 6/10
Longstaff had a mixed game. He made a poor decision with a first-half free-kick that hit the wall, but he also worked hard to win the ball back when needed. Unfortunately, he had to be taken off after a foul while already on a yellow card.
Brenden Aaronson: 6/10
Aaronson showed flashes of good footwork and energy, but couldn’t find much end product. He made a few clever passes and tracked back well defensively, but Leeds needed more cutting edge in attack. He’s clearly full of effort, but he must deliver more in the final third.
Lukas Nmecha: 6/10
Nmecha took his goal brilliantly with a clean, confident finish early in the game. But after that, he struggled to make an impact and kept falling when backing into defenders. In the Premier League, those fouls are rarely given, and he’ll need to adapt quickly.
Noah Okafor: 7/10
Okafor looked dangerous in the first half, running at defenders and creating chances. He won a few free kicks and caused problems with his pace. However, his influence faded in the second half, and Leeds lost some attacking spark when he went quiet.

Daniel James (7/10)
James came off the football bench and instantly added energy. In just 15 minutes, he was the most lively winger, pushing forward with pace and intent. He made a good case to start the next Leeds United game today or later in the week.
Joel Piroe (3/10)
Came on and made little impact. Couldn’t find space or link up well with others. One to forget for the striker.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (6/10)
Did his best after coming on, getting two headers on goal – one saved, one off target. Looked sharp, but didn’t have much service.
Pascal Struijk & Jack Harrison (N/A)
Both came on too late to make a real difference. Harrison gave away a penalty, which summed up Leeds’ poor luck on the day.
Leeds United’s away form continues to worry fans as they struggle to turn strong starts into wins.
The football administration and coaching staff will need to regroup before the next Leeds football game.
With players like Dan James pushing hard from the bench, Daniel Farke may have tough choices to make before the next fixture.
The Whites need to find balance and belief quickly, or they risk slipping further down the table.
