Leeds Set to Snap Up £18M Wizard for Nothing: Shock Exit Opens Door for Farke’s First Summer Masterstroke!

by Alex Matthews

Leeds United might be about to pull off a clever bit of business this summer. After smashing the Championship with over 100 points, the Whites are now looking ahead to life back in the Premier League.

And one player might be joining them for nothing even though he once cost £18 million!

West Brom Star Set to Leave for Free

Grady Diangana, the 27-year-old attacker from West Brom, is leaving the club this summer. West Brom have confirmed that Diangana is going to walk away as a free agent, even though they paid a big fee for him when he signed.

Now, that puts Leeds in a great spot. Daniel Farke needs new attacking players especially with Manor Solomon going back to Spurs.

Right now, he’s only got Dan James, Wilfried Gnonto, Brenden Aaronson, Mateo Joseph, Patrick Bamford, Joel Piroe, and new boy Largie Ramazani. Joe Gelhardt is expected to leave too.

With so many games coming up in the Premier League next season, Leeds need more depth. That’s where Diangana could come in.

Why Diangana Makes Sense for Leeds

Diangana didn’t have the best season this year, but he’s still got a lot to offer. Last season, he got 7 goals and 8 assists, not bad at all.

He’s quick, skillful, and can play in different attacking spots. And under a good coach like Daniel Farke, he could really shine again.

Even if he’s not starting every game, Diangana would be a great option from the bench. He brings speed, creativity, and experience all things Leeds will need in the top flight.

Plus, getting a player like him on a free transfer is a bargain. It means Leeds can spend more money in other positions like defence or midfield, while still adding real quality in attack.

A Fresh Start at Elland Road?

Diangana might also be keen on a fresh start. There were some reports that he could go abroad, but a move to a Premier League club like Leeds might be too good to turn down.

He’s already proven he can do it in English football, now he just needs the right team around him.

If Leeds can get this deal done, it could be one of the smartest transfers of the summer.
