Leeds United fans walked away from Elland Road feeling mixed after a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
The Whites played good football and even had the lead late on, but once again they let it slip right at the end.
Daniel Farke’s side had big chances from the start and could have been ahead in the first minute.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was busy up top but couldn’t find the net. Bournemouth took the lead with a free-kick, but Leeds hit back through Joe Rodon’s header before half-time.
In the second half, Sean Longstaff scored a stunning volley to put Leeds ahead, but the visitors equalised late through Eli Kroupi.
It was a hard-working performance that ended in frustration. Here’s how the players rated:
Karl Darlow: 6
Didn’t have too many saves to make, but he should have done better for the first goal. The free-kick went under the wall and caught him out. Needs to command his defence more.
Jayden Bogle: 7.5
Played even though he was hurt last week. Defended well against Semenyo and stopped him creating danger. Not as strong going forward this time, but still solid.
Joe Rodon: 8.5
Scored his first Premier League goal with a powerful header to bring Leeds level. Defended bravely with key blocks, though he lost his man for Bournemouth’s late goal. Still one of Leeds’ best.
Pascal Struijk: 8
Another strong game at the back. Calm, solid and read the play well. Bournemouth didn’t create much in open play thanks to him.
Gabriel Gudmundsson: 8
Showed fight and spirit all game. His effort on the wing created the move for Longstaff’s goal. Defended hard and gave good crosses forward. Fans love his energy.
Sean Longstaff: 9
The best player on the pitch. Scored a cracking volley and set up chances with his passing. Controlled the game in midfield and gave Leeds a big spark.
Ethan Ampadu: 6
Had some shaky moments, losing the ball under pressure. Did his job better as the game went on but was caught out for Bournemouth’s equaliser.
Anton Stach: 5

Struggled to make an impact. Gave away the free-kick that led to the first goal and didn’t offer much in attack. Needs to do better.
Brenden Aaronson: 7
Worked very hard and created a good chance for Calvert-Lewin. Fans were unsure at times but he kept running and helping the team press.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 8
Led the line well, holding up play and making clever runs. Had three big chances but couldn’t score. Leeds need him to finish more often, but his overall play was strong.
Noah Okafor: 7
Looked sharp with his dribbling and movement. Helped set up Longstaff’s goal and brought energy, though he needs more end product.
Substitutes
Jack Harrison: 6
Nearly scored with a great long shot. Added some fresh legs in attack.
Ao Tanaka: 5
Couldn’t keep control when he came on. Lost the ball too easily.
Lukas Nmecha: N/A
Came on late with little time to make an impact.
Leeds United fans will feel this was two points lost rather than one point gained. Longstaff and Rodon gave them hope, but late goals remain a big problem. Farke must fix this if LeedsÂ
