“I’m Told Leeds Could Act Fast” Sky Sports Reporter Drops Major Daniel Farke Sack Bombshell Before Chelsea Clash

by Alex Matthews

Leeds United are walking into one of the biggest weeks of their season, and maybe the most important week of Daniel Farke’s time at the club.

The pressure is now massive, the board is getting worried, and Wednesday night against Chelsea might decide everything.

The Whites have fallen into a really bad run of form, and many inside Elland Road now feel something must change fast.

After four defeats in a row and two more huge games coming up, the future of the German boss is hanging by a thread.

Below is a full look at why Farke is in danger, what the board is thinking, and who could replace him if things get worse.

Leeds Board Growing Concerned After Poor Results

Leeds have had a tough return to Premier League life, but the last few weeks have been especially painful.

Four straight losses have pushed the club closer to the bottom, and the bosses now fear a drop back to the Championship, something no promoted club has suffered since 2022-23.

Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett revealed earlier today that people inside the club are “concerned” by the results and the overall mood.

If Leeds lose again, this time at home to Chelsea, the board is ready to hold “serious conversations” about Farke’s job.

Even though the team showed some fight in the second half against Manchester City, it was still a defeat.

And the Premier League is unforgiving, spirit alone won’t save a manager.

Chelsea is chasing the top two, and after that, Leeds must face Liverpool. It’s a brutal schedule, and Farke badly needs points to stay safe.

Leeds Already Looking at Replacement Options

Sources close to the club say that the 49ers ownership group has already started planning for what happens if Farke cannot turn things around quickly.

Several names are on the list, and the club is expected to target someone with strong Premier League experience.

Former Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is believed to be high on the list. He is currently without a club and impressed many during his time at Wolves and Bournemouth.

His calm style and knowledge of survival battles make him a realistic option.

But he is not the only one. Former Celtic and Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is another name strongly linked to the job.

He has won trophies, knows how to build a team, and nearly took Liverpool to the Premier League title. Rodgers would bring a winning mentality and strong experience.

Reports also mention Ange Postecoglou and Zsolt Low, though these names are seen as outsiders for now.

One thing is clear: Leeds want someone proven, someone who understands how to survive in the Premier League, and someone who can steady the ship fast.

Why Brendan Rodgers Looks the Obvious Choice

If Farke does get sacked, the favourite for the job appears to be Brendan Rodgers.

He has won the FA Cup with Leicester, dominated Scotland with Celtic, and brought Liverpool within touching distance of a title.

Rodgers knows how to handle pressure, how to control big dressing rooms, and how to pick up wins in difficult situations.

Leeds is desperate for a manager with Premier League success, and Rodgers fits that profile perfectly.

If the 49ers can meet his wage demands and convince him to join the fight, he could be exactly the man they need.

Daniel Farke is now entering the most important match of his Leeds career. A win against Chelsea might buy him a little more time.

A defeat could bring the end. The board is watching closely, the fans are nervous, and the future feels uncertain.

This is the moment where seasons change, and maybe managers too.
