Chaos After a Dream Wedding: Premier League Ace and Wife Trapped in War Zone with No Way Out

by Alex Matthews

Premier League footballer Manor Solomon is stuck in Israel with his wife after flying there for their wedding.

The winger, who helped Leeds United earn promotion last season, now faces big trouble as war has broken out between Israel and Iran.

Married Just Days Ago

Solomon got married to his long-time girlfriend Dana Voshina last Thursday. The couple have been together since 2018 and looked very happy in photos they shared online.

Friends and family joined them for a big celebration. Everything looked perfect.

But just days later, things changed fast. The conflict in the Middle East suddenly got worse. Now, all flights are cancelled in and out of Israel until the end of June.

Stuck With No Way Out

Solomon is now stuck in Israel with his new wife, and they can’t fly back to the UK. Reports say thousands of people, including many Brits, are also trapped in the area.

It’s not safe to travel, and airports have stopped flights due to missile attacks from both countries.

This is not the first time Solomon has faced this kind of situation. Back in 2022, he was playing in Ukraine for Shakhtar Donetsk when Russia invaded.

He had to be rescued and brought home by the Israeli government. Now history is repeating itself.

Another Footballer Affected

Solomon is not the only footballer hit by this war. Mehdi Taremi, a striker who just signed for Inter Milan, also got stuck in Tehran after playing for Iran.

These players are now caught between football careers and real-life danger.

Leeds Fans Still Love Him

Even though he’s not a permanent Leeds player, fans at Elland Road still have love for Solomon. He played a key part in helping Leeds get back to the Premier League.

Many supporters are watching the news and hoping he and his wife return safely.

There have even been calls online for Leeds to try and sign him permanently if he becomes available this summer.

What Happens Next?

For now, Solomon has to wait. No one knows when flights will start again. But one thing is clear, this summer hasn’t gone as planned for the winger.

Leeds United fans and the football world will keep a close eye on the situation. Hopefully, he and his wife get home safe and maybe even back to Yorkshire soon.
